This may come as a surprise to most given my career, but I consider myself an introverted person. It may not seem like it - after all, I travel across Italy talking to crowds about science; willingly make videos of myself lecturing on complex topics; I am constantly meeting and befriending new people; signing autographs, and more...
And yet, if it were up to me, I'd be in a corner, in silence, thinking. However, I recognize that in order to be the best version of myself, I'm constantly needing to adapt to my surrounding and push myself past my comfort zone.
My passion for my job and hearing from others is what drives me to persevere and continue exploring, learning, and meeting individuals who are united by curiosity and an interest in knowledge. So, I put on a nice person mask and, at times, struggle to find something to say. Over the years it has become easier, and through my travels and conversations, I'm fortunate enough to continuously learn and grow my knowledge and expertise in the science industry.
