It's raining hardware at Google Cloud, with the company making major upgrades in advance of bringing Nvidia's Blackwell GPUs into its fold next year.
The upgrades announced in late October include a preview of its new TPU called Trillium, the homegrown Axion CPUs, and Nvidia's new H200 GPU.
The new hardware is being fed into what Google calls its Hypercomputer, a massive supercomputer spread across Google's Cloud infrastructure. It includes a set of diverse software and chip offerings for many types of workloads.
